Hello BMBI Families,

Spring is on the way, and we are looking forward to starting another great season soon. Did you know BMBI is celebrating our 75th anniversary this year?!

As you know, a large part of our success is attributable to the volunteer coaches that step up every year. Here’s your chance to get involved and have a positive contribution.

Would you consider joining us as a coach for the 2023 season? Registration is easy and can be done at the following link: https://www.bmbi.net/registration/

We need volunteers to help us fill the following spots in order to build teams for this year:

7U Rally Cap (Mondays) – 24 Head Coaches, 26 Assistant Coaches (teams only have 6 players/team)

8U Atom (Tuesdays) – 5 Head Coaches, 6 Assistant Coaches

9U Squirt (Mondays) – 5 Head Coaches, 6 Assistant Coaches

11U Mosquito (Wednesdays) – 5 Head Coaches, 7 Assistant Coaches

13U Peewee (Thursdays) – 5 Head Coaches, 6 Assistant Coaches

15U Bantam (Tuesdays) – 4 Head Coaches, 6 Assistant Coaches

17U/21U (Wednesday TBC) – 4 Head Coaches, 5 Assistant Coaches

You do not need any baseball or coaching experience to become a coach. What we do need are volunteers to step up and help us to create a positive, engaging, active and fun experience for the players. Equipment, bases, and help with certain aspects of the sport (i.e. what to teach, ways to set up a line-up, etc.) will all be provided.

If you have any questions or would like further information, please reach out to me at convenor@bmbi.net.

Thank you for taking the time to consider the positive impact you could have in the lives of today’s youth and helping to build a better community through baseball.

Looking forward to seeing you all on a diamond this season!

Kind regards,

Tina Turner
