Brampton Minor Baseball Inc. is now accepting applications for 2027 Brampton Royals 18U and 22U Head Coach positions.
Application Deadline: Friday, July 24, 2026, at 9:00 p.m.
Program Information
Our 18U and 22U teams will compete in the COBA league. The regular-season schedule consists of approximately 20 games played over 14 weeks, beginning in early May and concluding in early August.
18U Program
- Participation in approximately four to six tournaments, with possible travel involved
- One practice per week from May through August
- Regular indoor training sessions during the off-season to support player development and strengthen team culture
22U Program
- Exhibition games throughout the season to complement the COBA schedule and provide players with additional playing opportunities
- Participation in two to three local tournaments
- Participation in the Baseball Ontario Eliminations Tournament, with an opportunity to qualify for the National Championship—location to be determined
- One practice per week from May through August
- Indoor off-season training sessions for available players
Interview and Selection Process
Applicants may be invited to participate in an interview with the Coaching Selection Committee. The committee reserves the right to decline any application or applicant.
Important Information for Applicants
All coaches, managers, and team staff must obtain the minimum National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) qualifications required to participate in Baseball Ontario elimination tournaments and national championships by May 31, 2027.
Consideration may be given to applicants who demonstrate their intention to obtain the required coaching certifications.
Applicants must not be under suspension from any baseball association in North America. All coaches, managers, and team staff must also complete a background check unless a recent and valid one is already on file with BMBI.
