Program Details
The Brampton Royals offer a comprehensive and competitive Rep Baseball Program for athletes across multiple age groups and skill levels.
League Play
- Tier 1 (AAA): Ages 8U to 14U, and 22U teams compete in the Central Ontario Baseball Association (COBA) AAA loop.
- Tier 2 (AA): Ages 10U to 18U teams compete in the COBA AA loop.
- Select: Ages 10U to 18U teams compete in the COBA Select loop
The COBA regular season runs from early May through mid-August, featuring approximately 24 games over a 16-week schedule.
Tournaments and Playoffs
Throughout the season, travel teams typically participate in 5 to 8 weekend tournaments, some of which may involve travel or overnight stays. These tournaments offer players the opportunity to compete against top teams from across the province and beyond.
At the end of the season, teams will compete in COBA Playoff Tournaments in mid to late August. These playoffs determine which teams will represent COBA at the annual Provincial Championships held over Labour Day Weekend.
Off-Season Training
Training doesn’t stop when the outdoor season ends. Most Brampton Royals Travel teams train 2 to 4 times per week during the off-season (October to April). From January to April, each team trains at least once a week at our own Upper Deck Baseball Academy indoor facility, ensuring consistent development throughout the year.
Interview Process
Interviews may be requested by the Coaching Selection Committee as part of the evaluation process. Final coaching staffs will be chosen by the team managers following tryouts. Please note, the Selection Committee reserves the right to refuse any coach or application at its discretion.
